At Tinybots we consider it of great importance that everyone is able to be in control of their own lives. However, sometimes this is difficult because of a disability, a disease or extra care needs.
Therefore, we created healthcare robot Tessa. Tessa helps you organising your daily life. She reminds you of daily tasks, she suggests activities and she can play music. Healthcare robot Tessa empowers you.
Through a simple application you schedule reminders on Tessa. You schedule a reminder through our application on any device connected with Internet, then you select a date and a time to play the reminder.
Tessa will play the reminder on the scheduled date and time and repeats this if needed.
These reminders could be very simple ones like ‘it’s time for lunch’ or ‘did you already take your medication?’ This way, Tessa empowers you.
At Tinybots we aim to develop the best products for you. We do this through human-centered design. Our source of inspiration is you.
We develop a deep understanding of your needs and wishes and we develop our products in cooperation with you. We involve you in the early stage of development. We adjust our products according to your needs and your feedback. And we will never stop adjusting and innovating.
This way our products keep responding to your needs and wishes.
At the moment we cooperate with different progressive healthcare organisations in order to further improve our Tessa.

Tinybots was founded in 2015 by Wang Long Li and Robert Paauwe.
They both studied industrial design and conducted research on social robotics in healthcare at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
During their studies, Wang and Robert discovered that emotional support is of great importance in healthcare. Next to their research at the university, they worked on the development of a social healthcare robot during their nights. In 2015 they founded Tinybots. Since then, Tinybots went through a lot of changes. The team is now extended with people who are all passionate about improving the world.
